Description.

A small bathroom, such as a cloakroom or downstairs toilet, is the perfect opportunity to go bold with colour, texture and pattern choices.  This is most definitely what our bathroom designer went for with this  stunning cloakroom redesign!

In such a small space, every little detail was key to ensure a striking yet seamless look. The overall result is a beautifully functioning, bespoke Cloakroom design that is certain to impress visitors.

Cloakroom Marble Tiles Design

To contrast against the wallpaper, we picked large format white marble tiles from Stone & Ceramic Warehouse. The large format tiles allowed for minimal grout lines that maximised its natural pattern without breaks and helped make the space appear larger. 

Sumptuous Cloakroom Wallpaper

Featured is the richly decorated Leopardo wallpaper by Matthew Williamson, which perfectly highlights gold and brass tones. A cloakroom is a space where you can really experiment with wallpaper and create a strong focal point. It certainly infused character and opulence into the bathroom décor.

Elegant Brushed Gold Taps

To complement the gold and brass tones in the wallpaper, we chose chose a wall mounted tap in brushed brass from Crosswater to accentuate these lavish colours. The brushed brass tap frames the matt white cloakroom basin, bringing together all elements of this stunning cloakroom design. 

 

Final Summary

This cloakroom design proves that even in a small space, you can combine luxurious materials, marble, richly decorated wallpaper, contemporary brushed gold taps and opulent lighting to create an elegant space that perfectly works together.

The client requested a luxurious powder room, and specifically asked for us to incorporate design elements that oozed sophistication with pops of bold colour.
